Our Mouthwatering Icons
Experience the vibrant taste of Sri Lankan street food in Glasgow.

Kottu - කොත්තු
Kottu is Sri Lanka's most iconic street food — thinly shredded roti stir-fried with fresh vegetables, Ceylon spices, and your choice of chicken or egg. Famous for its rhythmic chopping sound on the griddle, our Chicken Kottu is Ceylon Cartel's signature dish, served hot at Broomielaw Glasgow, every day.
Yellow Rice (Kaha Bath) - කහ බත්
Kaha Bath, or Sri Lankan Yellow Rice, is a festive dish infused with coconut milk, aromatic spices, and local herbs, finished with crispy fried onions and curry leaves. Order it with our Sri Lankan-style chicken curry, or ask for our vegan option — one of Glasgow's few places to try this dish outside a home kitchen.
